A year later and another Lollapalloza,same venue.Not as good of a show as the 1993 edition but still cool.Smashing Pumpkins headlined,good live band.Beastie Boys to this day was the scariest set I've ever seen,as the crowd was absolutley batshit nuts and fists were flying.For every rap song played they would pick up the instruments and do some of the hardcore punk stuff they had on Check Your Head and Ill Communication,the two hybrid rock/rap albums they did back to back.George Clinton and PFunk Allstars proved that you could have 30 musicians on stage at once,and it was the second chance I got to see A Tribe Called Quest that year.The Breeders played their one hit,Cannonball and some more unmemorable songs.Overall good,with the exception of an exceptional set by the Beasties not up to the par of the prior year.
