Gotta love Netflix streaming.Without it I may not have been able to catch a favorite of mine from childhood,the great C grade sci fi film Trancers.The always good Tim Thomerson plays future cop Jack Deth,who is hell bent on killing Whistler,an evil mastermind who can psychically transform people into Trancers,zombies that do his bidding.Time travel is involved,and Deth has to go back in time to chase Whistler.This thing is a little over an hour long,made for about 5K,and it shows.Know what?I still think it's fun,and alot of that is due to Thomerson,who should have been bigger than he ever got.A pre fame Helen Hunt plays Jack's 1985 guide/girlfriend.Check it out with an open mind,and just picture the pitch meeting..."Lets take some Terminator,add a little Blade Runner and see what we got"
