Tom Cruise is an alien,but this looks good

I have enjoyed the Mission:Impossible films thus far,each had their merits and issues.The second was by far the closest to going completly batshit off the rails,but it had it's moments.This is the first live action feature from Director Brad Bird(The Iron Giant,The Incredibles),and the trailer is good.Plotwise it seems reminiscent of the first film,when the IF team had to go rogue to prove their innocence,but it looks a tad actioner(yeah it's a word).Something to maybe check out around Xmas time.I do fear franchise overexposure for Jeremy Renner though,who is now playing Hawkeye in Marvel films,taking over for Matt Damon in the Bourne franchise and is supposedly taking over as the lead in the Mission films after this.
